Minimum Operating Pressure: There is also a minimum pressure required for the motor to start and operate smoothly. This might be around 5 – 10 bar (72.5 – 145 psi), below which the motor may not function properly due to insufficient hydraulic force to overcome internal friction and other resistive forces.
Flow Requirements
Minimum Flow Rate: To achieve the minimum operating speed, a certain minimum flow rate of hydraulic fluid is needed. This could be approximately 2 – 5 litres par minute (L/min), depending on the displacement and the minimum speed requirements.
Débit maximum: The maximum flow rate that the motor can handle is related to its maximum speed. Par exemple, at the maximum speed of 3000 – 4000 RPM and with a displacement of 40 CM³ / Rev, the maximum flow rate might be around 120 – 160 L/min.
