The wheel body undergoes quenching, tempering, and medium – frequency surface quenching heat treatment processes to ensure its strength and wear – resistance. The surface hardness of the shaft is HRC52 – 60, and the depth of the hardened layer is 3 – 6 mm. For some PC300 track rollers, the surface hardness of the wheel body is HRC50 – 56, and the depth is 4 mm – 10 mm.
