PVH141 Variable Axial Piston Pump

Axial Piston Design: Uses a rotating cylinder block with pistons that move axially (parallel to the shaft) to suck and discharge oil—ensures high pressure resistance and volumetric efficiency.

Variable Displacement Mechanism: Equipped with a swashplate or tiltable cylinder block; adjusts the piston stroke to change oil flow (eliminates the need for bypass valves, saving energy).

Built-In Protection: Most variants include a pressure relief valve (prevents overpressure) and anti-cavitation valves (protects against low suction pressure).

PVH141 Variable Axial Piston Pump

Theoretical Displacement ~141 cm³/rev (cubic centimeters per revolution) Defines the maximum oil volume the pump can discharge per shaft rotation (varies slightly by manufacturer calibration).
Maximum Continuous Pressure 30 – 35 MPa (4350 – 5075 psi) Safe long-term operating pressure; ensures pump durability without component damage.
Peak Pressure 38 – 42 MPa (5510 – 6090 psi) Short-duration (≤5 seconds) pressure for emergency or heavy-load scenarios (avoid prolonged operation at peak pressure).
Rated Speed 1800 – 2400 rpm (revolutions per minute) Optimal speed range for high volumetric efficiency (≥92%) and low operating noise.
Minimum Speed ≥600 rpm Prevents cavitation (air bubbles in oil) and ensures consistent oil suction; avoid running below this speed for extended periods.
Hydraulic Fluid Compatibility ISO VG 32/46/68 mineral-based hydraulic oil Must meet cleanliness standard NAS 8 or higher (use high-efficiency suction/return line filters to avoid contamination).
Operating Temperature Range -20°C to +80°C (-4°F to +176°F) Extreme temperatures (below -20°C or above +80°C) degrade seal performance and oil viscosity, leading to pump failure.
